The second 'Your Community
Matters' will again bring together groups, clubs, charities,
organisations, and businesses - those that are local to the
area as well as others that matter to the community. The event is an opportunity for
people from around West Devon to find out about groups and
activities they could join, and charities, services and
businesses that could enhance their lives.
The day
will be fun with lots of opportunities for joining in, lots
of demonstrations and workshops, and many performances.
We expect more than 50 stands. The
event will take place indoors in the Coronation Hall and
outside in the Recreation Ground, and we are planning to
increase the space under cover by having a large marquee.
Entry to
the event for the public will be free.
To take part
as a non-profit-making
organisations there will be no charge for a space. There will be a small cost for
businesses taking part, normally just £10.
